Worried What To Do After Done Cadetship???

Here are The Requirements for Take 4th Class COC :

Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch of 750KW or more Unlimited Trade Voyages (Reg. III/1)

 

1) Course to be attended
   *Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch of 750KW or more UL
   *Advanced Fire Fighting
   *Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities
   *Efficiency in Survival Craft Certificate
   *Medical First Aid

2) Sea time
     *6 months sea time as Engine Cadet with approved Diploma In Marine Engineering

3) Apply for Oral Examination to Marine Department & Passed
Before you are qualified for this exam, you are to submit you written examination slip to Marine Department during your application. You cannot attend this exam if you are still undergoing your course or you failed in your written examination. Note : Please bring your Training Record Book for assessment by the examiner.

4) Apply for Certificate of Competency to Marine Department

Certificate of Competency Issued:
COC Grade:
Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch of 750KW or more Unlimited Trade Voyages (Reg. III/1)
Capacity & Limitation:
Watchkeeping Engineer – Unlimited Voyage – None

5) Apply for Endorsement of Certificate of Competency

Requirement for Endorsement of Certificate:
Holding COC of Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch of 750KW or more UL,
12 month sea time as Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch of 750KW or more UL,
Holding a Shipboard Management Certificate.
COC Grade:
Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch of 750KW or more Unlimited Trade Voyages (Reg. III/1)
Capacity & Limitation:
Watchkeeping Engineer – Unlimited Voyage – None
Second Engineer – Less than 3000kW Near Coastal Voyage
